  48. This application uses several features of ObjectVision to take a "tongue in cheek" 
  49. approach to the selection of fine wines.  The application guides you through a series of 
  50. food selections and personal preferences before making a "recommendation" for the 
  51. best wine to accompany your meal.  To begin the process, simply click the Begin 
  52. button. 
  53. The use of several object types are illustrated by this application.  First of all, a myriad 
  54. of graphics are employed to provide a colorful interface.  Food selections are made 
  55. using combo box type fields.  The Preferences form utilizes both check boxes and radio 
  56. buttons. 
  57. In the background, a link to a Paradox table named WINES provides an inventory of 
  58. available wines.  At any time, you can click the View Wine Inventory button to see
  59. which wines the application will choose from.  During your selection process, you'll
  60. indicate whether you prefer white or red wines.  Once this is accomplished, the
  61. Inventory form will display ONLY white or red wines based on your selection.  An
  62. ObjectVision filter is used for this purpose.  Once a wine recommendation is made,
  63. the Inventory form will again display all wines available. 
  64. To make the application more useful, try adding more functionality yourself.  Expand 
  65. the capabilities of the Inventory form by adding buttons to allow for deletions and the 
  66. addition of your own favorite wines.  Add more preference fields or change the options 
  67. given for each choice.  You'll see how easy it is to modify an existing ObjectVision 
  68. application.  Have fun!<
